The simplicity(5) of Go Animate is understandable as it runs on presets rather than the customizations of Anim8or. Though it is easy for anyone to use this right of the bat as it requires almost no experience or skills to master the controls. On top of that it requires no installation to the computer so all it takes to use it is to reach the web site and make an account.
The characters (3) are adequate as they are all used by everyone but are still visually appalling. Since you can`t create new characters it eliminates the creativity of the creator. Also to add to it the additions to the characters are small in number. But the small amount of additions are enough to spark some creativity and originality.
The overall quality (3) is standard for this type of program because nothing really pops out or is exceptional about it. The creativity no matter how much you try, since to be left out when any animations are made. Though for project rubrics it could pass as a average B project as it requires some effort.
The custaminazation (2) of the characters and background are limited both in number and originality. As there is no way to make your own. Also the lettering of the program are not changeable and are stuck on one font that doesn`t portray the tone or attitude of the character. Also some off the features are locked off until bought which really limits of the ability for people.
